Our vision for the Politics and International Relations Department is to be a nationally and internationally recognized center of excellence for enriching its students in researching political thought and international relations. Our vision also intends to inspire and empower them to help policy makers, diplomats and government officials.

  1. Program Introduction

The four-year BS International Relations program offered at GM Affiliated University’s esteemed Department of Politics & International Relations is designed to provide students with a top-tier education, focusing on the dynamic field of International Relations, where they will delve into the intricate workings of global affairs, state behavior, power dynamics, and national interests. As students’ progress through this journey, they will be exposed to fundamental concepts and theoretical approaches in International Relations, paving the way for in-depth analyses of contemporary global issues and conflicts.

  4. Admission Eligibility Criteria
    1. The candidate must have passed the Intermediate or equivalent examination from Pakistan’s any board of intermediate & secondary education.
    2. Subject to policy/applicability, the candidate shall pass the Entrance Test and Interview as required by the HEC.
  5. Duration of the Program
  • Minimum Duration: 4 years; through 8 regular semesters (Fall/Spring)
  • Minimum Credits: 120-144
  • Workload per Semester: 5-6 Courses/15-18 Credits
